ALL CONCERNED:

We are today faced with Court action because of a crossing violation at Clare.  Please refer to Operating Rule 802.

In addition to this 5 minute blocking period, a new State law no provides for a 5 minute lapse, or clear period, between successive train movements and imposes a heavy fine for each violation, or imprisonment, or both.

Train service employees must exercise extreme care and use their best judgement in seeing that highway crossings are kept clear, particularly those in incorporated municipalities, staate highways, etc.
